From the President's Desk

I feel exceedingly elated writing this foreward with privilege conferred; certainly my utmost gratitude to Almighty God, to him alone deserve all the praise.

Practically, we will agree in unison that, Digitalization of our society's affairs is long overdue, with the significant advantage its offers to any system. International best practices of Cooperative conduct and its management has since move from mere Manual Operation to an Electronic based. The merit of course can not be overemphasized. It's a 21st century IT dominated with robust digital assessment and the usage of analog is not only obsolete, but archaic in reality.

Based on the above consciousness and in fulfilment of our campaign promises that, we have been working through the thick and thin to ensure its actualisation. Just as Warren bennis state in his note on Leadership; "Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality". However, the following are specific areas of benefits;

a. Members assessment to their Coop. Account at their convenience via Mobile Phones and can make immediate complain if any, via same channel.

b. Online Loan Application.

c. Provision of Electronic Voting (E-Voting), to nip in the bud disenfranchisement of members in far distance from participating in Cooperative Election.

d. Society's Products placed for sale at any given time can always be seen and ordered.

e. Members can advertise their various products on our website with a token charge based on more than 2000 members traffic on the platform at all time.

f. Restriction and Elimination of fraud related attempt against the sanctity of our society.

g. Provision of a single Chatting Platform for all members and many more.

As a matter of fact, Digitalization of Cooperative affairs is an integral part of the achievement of this administration. It may however interest you to be updated with our Score Cards within one year of assumption of office;

1. Establishment of Cooperative Kitchen with introduction of Tickets, to allow members to eat on credit.

2. Introduction of Emergency Loan for members, to be assessed within 24hours of application.

3. Reduction of Coop. Interest rate to 3% on Emergency Loan and Food Tickets.

4. Establishment of Coop. Staff POS Point, to facilitate and ease financial transactions of members.

5. Commencement of Cooperative Pure Water Production and Perfection of Its NAFDAC Registration.

6. Establishment of Command Pure Water DEPOT

7. Procurement/ Purchase of Coop. Executive Hummer Bus. First of its kind.

8. Introduction of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Establishment of Borehole, to create succor for members and staffs.

9. Cleared an Outstanding Loan of #16M Inherited.

10. Purchase of Ram and Commodities (Rice and Groundnut Oil), during Ileya and Christmas for our Muslim and Christan members.

11. Procurement of Motorcycle and Tricycle for members.

12. Sales of Various Electronics and Home appliances for members.

13. Solving inherited IPPIS problem via the Introduction of Debit Direct Software. First of its kind.

14. Reintroduction of Filling system, for proper documentation of members records.

15. Introduction of Coop. Notice Board and Reintroduction of Suggestion Box.

16. Commissioning, Allocation and Handing over of Individual Key to the remaining 20 beneficiaries of WOMAI/FMBN Housing scheme.

Above stated achievements of this administration are just little of what is more to come, which includes and not limited to;

• Establishment of Cooperative Store/Mini Mart.
• Introduction of Coop. Housing Project Scheme, where members uncompleted Housing Projects can be assisted. To cover; Block making, Roofing Sheets, Windows and Doors as well as Borehole drilling.
• To totally resolve Over deduction and Under deduction inherited problem created by IPPIS Platform.
• Establishment of Cooperative Event Center.
• Establishment of befitting Senior and Junior Officer's Mess.
• Establishment of Cooperative Gas Point for members benefits.
• Payment of overstressed POLARIS Bank debit in some members account, already overdue.
• Purchase of Cooperative Mobile Block making Machine, to assist members for their housing projects.
• Organization of Financial Management Seminar.
• Establishment of a Centralised Toilet to the Command under CSR as approved by the Congress.
• Commencement of Bottle Water Production for our Factory.
• Purchase of Land at reasonable location for Interested members.
• Commencement of Payment, for the Retirees as approved by the Congress.
• And many more..

It is note worthy and appreciative to also recognize the immense contribution of our past leaders; ASCII Adebayo Michael Rtd. (2005-2013), AC Ibrahim Dele Momoh Rtd. (2013-2014), CSC Lateef Adisa Rtd. (2014-2018) and ASCI Akinyemi Busayo (2018-2020), who has contributed in no small measure to the society's progress. We certainly owes these cremes of leaders sincere appreciation for their selfless service. As a result, this administration shall confer Award of Appreciation and Selfless Service to Humanity to them in our coming AGM, 24th of February, 2022. Also, we must and shall never forget the role played by ACG Adesuyi (Late), in our modern Cooperative affairs while serving in Oyo as State Commandant. In that regards, a Posthumous Award of an ICON shall be conferred.

I must also on behalf of my executive members agree that, this giant stride and monumental feat is made possible with the privilege given to serve and unflinching support received from our teeming members, as such we dedicate all above stated achievement in your names. Thumps up to all the 'Progressive' as well. Special thanks to our able, amiable and Indefatigable State Commandant, Adaralewa Michael Akintayo MBA, FIDMSS, MSCN, who also doubled as Patron of the society, for the fatherly role, consistent guide and enabling environment given to execute aimed, planned and structured intentions. Sir, you are sincerely and greatly appreciated. The immediate past Commandant Akinsanya Iskilu Abiodun must also be recognized for standing with the Society. You are equally and sincerely appreciated sir.

Succinctly, we must reinstate our resolve and commitment to ensure that, all campaign promises shall by God's grace be fulfilled and we will never betray the trust reposed in us.
